I am dealing with one person who does not get migraines and she does not understand the help I need, the activities I can not do when I have one, how sluggish I feel after it and that I can not give it my all when I have a migraine etc. How do you get your needs met but not be rude to the people who do not understand?What helps them to understand , listen to you, or be more willing to help you?Really struggling with these type of interactions. Thanks for your help.

I have been in PT for almost 3 months for my right arm/ neck/ shoulder pain that happens after bad migraines. It had just gone away after 2.5 months of PT this week i was supposed to graduate after taking a week off to see if i could keep up with exercises on my own and then i had a migraine 2 nights in a row and pain is back. I have had migraines for 10 years. Getting worse 15-20 a month. I have tried Botox, Aimovig, emgality, imitrex, topomax, naratriptan, depeco. Nothing works more than a month. I have been hospitalized several xs because cocktail they give at ER does not work. They gave me DHE infusions thru a central line. One every 8 hours for 4 days. It’s a very strong drug w a lot of side effects. The infusions they are talking about are once every 3 months thru IV. Has anyone tried them?

My epileptologist prescribed this medicine about a month ago, for seizure-like symptoms and migraine. Started taking it about three weeks ago. Began to have really bad intermittent sleep, though, and bad mood swings. Did help some with the pain, and feelings of deja vu, and blanking out. Just wanted to get an idea of what y’all’s experience with this drug has been like.

Has anyone heard of someone going into a coma from a very very bag migraine?

Hello, I have suffered with migraines for 30 years now. Getting them at the age of 8 is hard enough as it is, but as I grew up the headaches would last longer. about 5 years ago, I got a headache that lasted 8 days. I thought I was going to die, seriously, I think at moments I actually prayed to god saying "I'm not ready to die please don't give me a brain aneurism at 33 years old!!!"

My muscles have been sore my body has been aching it's like the inside of my chest near my organs and heart they've been hurting as well to a little nausea but no vomiting constant headaches headaches toothaches been getting plenty of rest and drinking water I can't be dehydrated some of the symptoms from HIV which I know I don't have because I've been tested but only had one intimate partner and I didn't use protection so I don't know if that could be the cause or could it just be my sinuses

I am two months into this prescription, which I know you have to give new medications time, but i am getting back to a point where my migraines are becoming more consistent even though I am still taking this daily. Do yall have any suggestions?
