Triggers

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Kentucky

For anyone that chocolate is a trigger...can you eat white chocolate or would it be the same? Trying to help my daughter find her triggers. Thanks

A MyMigraineTeam Member

I think white chocolate would be fine. I think it's the chocolate cocoa and caffeine in the chocolate that triggers the migraines.

Ringing In The Ears?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Roanoke, AL

I have very few days without a migraine. Worst part is the constant ringing in my ears 24/7 it gets so loud the worse my head hurts that I can't even hear. I have tried nerve blocks, botox, epidurals..and drugs none work. If I could get rid of the ringing I would be so much happier. Anyone else have the ringing? What do you do?

A MyMigraineTeam Member

I get it too. Just my left ear which is side of Head it always starts. I will just eventually lose all hearing

Have Any Of Y’all Every Been Diagnosed With Mesial Temporal Sclerosis?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
San Antonio, TX

My epileptologist (neurologist with focus on epilepsy) ordered an MRI after I had went numb on my left side last year, and lost vision/got auras more frequently. When I got the results from my radiologist, he indicated that my left temporal lobe was atrophied, suggestive of mesial temporal sclerosis. Gonna… read more
