A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fort Lauderdale, FL

Hello
I’ve had pretty infrequent migraines since 2012, but in 2015 I began to have small 1-2mm spots of flashes in my vision that lasted a split second a few times per day. Those spots have evolved into dark spots, flashes, and lines lasting a bit longer than before, and they’ve significantly increased in frequency. I’ve experienced only one “classic” retinal migraine in the past. And I don’t believe the frequency of the visual disturbances fits with the presentation of retinal migraines. Yet… read more

Anyone Who Struggles With Vestibular Migraines?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Xenia, OH

I'm having trouble getting through daily life when the symptoms don't stop or lessen for weeks at a time.

I'm also having issues with people at work who act like nothing is wrong with me and I should just do what they ask because I "look fine".... has anyone delt with situations like this? What is a good way of handling people who think you are lazy, when you are trying your best to do what you can within your abilities? I feel like I'm talking to brick walls.

A MyMigraineTeam Member

Yes I did and if I knew what I know now I would have gone out on disability. Migraines are a disability and I didn’t know it.
