A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Miami, FL

Hello. I have 20mg prednisone on hand for unbreakable migraines. I haven’t had to use it in a while, but I need it now. For those of you who have used it, do you typically take one daily for 3 days or 5? And no tapering required? Thank you!

Which Type Of Travel Is More Stressful For You-air Or Road?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
heathersthpw@gmail.com

I am from Kansas and have a reunion coming up in July in Utah. I know the 15+\- hour drive is stressful enough as it is but the idea of it triggers a migraine. My symptoms have increased since the last time I flew in 2019. My constant ear aches are what I'm most concerned about.

Pain Management For Migraines???

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
West Palm Beach, FL

Hi friends. Right now for maintenance meds I take Aimovig, Topamax, Propranolol, and get Botox. For acute treatment I have Ubrelvy and oral Toradol. I also take Riboflavin, Melatonin, and Magnesium supplements. Migraines are still nearly daily, but 6/10 instead of 9/10. Do any of you go to pain management? If so, does it help???

Does Anyone Else Aches All Over As With The Flu When You Get Migraines.

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

My new headache doctor said she was not familiar with this symptom. I am wondering if another condition is triggering my headaches. I feel a burning ache all through my body and just want to crawl under something. The headache itself is not necessarily that bad, but I do get other common migraine symptoms with it.

I get very achy. Can hardly walk. Feel like i have been hit by a truck. Takes me at least 12 hours to recover.

Has Anyone Ever Slept 24 Hours, Had To Be Woken Up But Was Unresponsive With A 3 Day Memory Loss As A Result Of A Migraine?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Kitchener, ON

I’ve recently experienced this. The last thing I remember is putting a roast in the oven on Mother’s Day. My husband said I went to sleep at 8PM Sunday, he realized at 4Pm Monday that I was still sleeping. He tried waking me, he couldn’t for several minutes; when he did I was unresponsive and disoriented, as if I had a stroke. He called an ambulance after 2 ER visits and a CT scan there saying it was a migraine.

I’ve been dealing these for 40yrs and NEVER EVER has this happened. I have… read more
