Question About Trying Different Type Of Medication?
I was looking into different medication I haven't tried for my migraine and cluster headaches and i found almotriptan (Axert) and Frovatriptan (Frova) and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these and can guide me on if they are worth me changing to?
Medications
Please please let me know some names of medications that you have had some success with. I have tried a couple with not much success. I have found that botox works but I am unable to have health benefits at this time. When I did have benefits it was covered and life was not as painful 😓.
Sumatriptan (generic Imitrex) is cheap at Costco and works well for me as a rescue. Currently, gabapentin is helping me a lot for prevention.

Have You Found A Cheaper Way To Get Your Preferred Medication When It's Not Covered By Your Insurance?
I've had migraines for 30+ years. I've tried every medication under the sun and FROVA works (by far) the best for me.

Status Migraine Issues
My name is Jen and I have suffered with migraines for 25 years. In the past few years they have gotten considerably worse. I end up with a status migraine every year now that is hard to break. This year I haven't been able to break it. It's been 4 months. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I take Zonegran daily, Emgality monthly, nerve blocks every 4 weeks, Botox every 12 weeks. I also have Frova, Nurtec, Torodol, Phenergan, Zofran and Compazine. I have used the infusion clinic for… read more
