The weather especially an oncoming storm which lowers the barometric pressure!!! I just suffer emmensely days before and after. I wrap my head in ice packs. MSG added to food. Any alcohol. Artificial sweeteners. Smells like turpentine, nail polish remover, diesel exhaust, paint and air freshners.

My sensitivity to light (brightness, fluorescent lights, glare [sun on snow and any other sources of glare], flickering) seems to worsen the older I get (I'm 74). It's been many years since I've gone to a movie theater. Other triggers for me are noise, dehydration, lack of sleep, low blood sugar from not getting enough protein, vibration, computer/tv/reading, and trying to get away with cheating on foods I know my body doesn't want (absolutely no grains, and no citrus, dairy, sweeteners, eggs or soy). My "Cocoon" sunglasses really help with the light, and I wear them a lot, not just when I'm outside and it's sunny. Artificial fragrances, other strong chemical smells, stuffy rooms. Stress, too, but now that I'm retired, it's not as bad as it was, and naps really help me stay calm.

You are not alone. 11 years post surgery for me and the weather/ barometric pressure changes do affect me along with nitrates in food.

The Weather, Anxiety, Stress, Food(Dairy) I have to check ALL ingredient information. Allergic Rhinitis and Chronic Migraines do not mix!!! I use my Calm App, Vicks around my nose, temples, Jawline (TMJ), Migraine hat laid out on my pillow, and sometimes a Hot water bottle on my chest. I tend to get Cold đŸĨļ. Summer and Winter ❄ī¸. I use Ajovy every 28 days and Botox every 3 months (Need to make an appointment). The Y Pool helps if I can get there. If anyone has any new ideas? Please let me know. Please take care Everyone!! đŸĨ°đŸ¤§đŸ˜‚
