Does Anybody Forget About The Pain When They Are Doing Something They Enjoy And When It Over The Pain Returns. Thanks Ed
Migraines for 25 years changed my life
I had to change my life as I could not handle stress anymore where I used to thrive on it. Went from a type A personality to person who meditates everyday. Helps me
I try to do things I enjoy to forget about the pain for a while. Sometimes it's easier than others to do, depending on the severity of my migraine. If I can do it, I'll visit with my parents. Or I'll read, or play on my computer game. It's important that I keep my mind occupied regardless of pain.
I have found that when I have a positive adrenaline feeling, which could be an activity I enjoy or a sense of accomplishment, I don’t get migraine symptoms.
When I have difficult, adrenaline feelings, like fear or high anxiety, that will often bring on migraine symptoms.
This has becomes so noticeable that I asked my headache neurologist if there was any research regarding adrenaline as a migraine treatment. There isn’t any that he is aware of, but it has really got me thinking about this.
Good luck thanks for your reply
