Has Anyone Had A Daily Persistent Headache For 4 Yrs/10 Mos Every Day/any Day?

How could this be? My last attempt for relief was neck surgery 4 weeks ago. Neck great; headache worse. I just don't know what else to do. I have tried every treatment available including 6 blood patches in my spine, 4 spinal taps, Botox, every migraine medicine available, infusions, nerve blocks. On and on and on.

@A MyMigraineTeam Member I took Aimovig before moving to Ajovy. The larger issue I had to get off of Aimovig due to constipation issues I just could not tolerate any longer. There is a medication program the pharmacy follows for Ajovy as they found something on the website for patients. I remember going to the website and filling out some brief information then having a card sent to me quite a few months ago then giving the numbers to the pharmacy. Insurance policies are different for every person so all I can suggest is to visit the manufacturer and follow what I had suggested. Hope the above works to your benefit!

@A MyMigraineTeam Member, We sound like twins with the exception I've had migraines for 60 years and daily headaches since 1980s. Question: you're on Ajovy. Have you ever tried Aimovig? If so, what were your results?

I'm on botox and Aimovig for several years. It helped cut my migraines from 24-28 down to 14-20, but only for a few years. I'm back up now. But still not 24-28, so I can't complain. Plus there are other factors.

Also, I get Aimovig free from the Amgen Safetynet Foundation. Do you know if Ajovy has a similar program?

Yes, I have had migraines ever since 1995. They began on a daily basis, 28 a month, then after starting Botox it dropped them down to seven to 10 a month now that I am on Ajovy as the booster I am at seven a month. I still have issues every so often where the numbers will increase or the pain level will get very severe but we may have found the answer to that by doing a trigger point in the specific area the migraines are coming from.
