They say it takes 6 mos to fully see the effects. So maybe it's bc it's not entirely in your system yet.

I've been Aimovig for about nine months. It has consistently reduced the intensity and duration of the migraines, but the number of migraines per month goes up and down.

I'm on my 7th migraine free day on Aimovig. I can't remember when I last had a pain free week! 💃

I'll be taking my first dose tomorrow as was just approved by insurance to get it. Will keep you informed if you wish.

It is easier to get if you have commercial insurance, I am on disability and they will not cover it. My Neurologist is tiring to get me on this through the pharmaceutical company. They often are able to get it approved, just taking a long time. Some of the above comments said that you are just starting, this was about 9 months ago, any changes? Thanks
