Has Anyone Taken Eletriptan, If So Does It Cause You To Feel Foggy Headed The Next Day? (Med Fog)
My experience and the experiences of others on this site reference fogginess as one of the possible ancillary symptoms that can occur with a migraine.
There is an article on the site that discusses the multiple symptoms that can occur along with the pain of a migraine. It might be helpful for you to read about those because what you are attributing to a drug reaction may not be the case.
It’s also a good idea if you have a headache neurologist to go over what you are taking, and your array of symptoms for clarification.
Thank you so much for your reply! So, do you think that a constant migraine for over 6 years straight now could just cause fogginess on its own then?
Eletriptan has been my favorite rescue medication for my migraines. Unfortunately, I have had to give it up because I have an allergy to the orange coating on the pills.
I would feel foggy the next day, but I don’t know whether it was from the medication or from the migraine.
My migraines can last 3 to 10 days with occasional daytime periods of relief. Then the migraine would start building into the evening approximately 24 hours since I took medication.
The strain of the continuous migraine can certainly include feeling foggy and generally off.
I also use frovatriptan and this can sometimes break the migraine pattern after a couple of days of eletriptan.
Good luck to you for finding relief.
So, is it right away or after the triptan wears off that you feel foggy headed?
I have foggy head with all triptins. I really react badly
