A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

So I went to the neurologist today and she asked me some questions and I said that I couldn't remember the answer to these questions. Has anyone experienced this

In the midst of a brutal aura, I often have trouble thinking of the correct words or answers.

Memory loss is a very popular topic right now. My memory loss is obvious to everyone, but so is my husband's and he rarely has any headache of any kind. A lot of migraineurs say their brain MRIs show white lesions, but all migraine experts say those don't matter. Those of us dealing with migraines can't help but wonder if they're right or wrong. Either way, I've decided to try to handle the problem by writing things down that I need to do because if not, I'll forget. However, there's no help for word loss. You just have to describe what you're trying to say and hope the other person understands.
