I quit taking Excedrin a long time ago as I use to take it like candy, it began effecting my stomach lining, not a good thing. At any rate how we, the pain management specialist and I, began fixing the matter was to remove Excedrin from the list. A combination of items were created for me to use because I have specific type migraines.

How it was suggested for me to handle them, use Tylenol every six hours as needed. It was suggested to try at least two doses of Tylenol before turning to the emergency dose of Midirin. Something that I also do is sip on coffee cold or hot preference based on mood at the time. But the combination of using coffee and the Tylenol does help in many cases for removing the migraine.

I keep note of everything that I am doing in the Notes app on my iPhone just making note of the date, time, and what medication taken for the migraine level. I also make note if I have had water or coffee. I like to do this so my pain management specialist is aware when we meet then she can see how I managed to control the migraine removal itself. This is just how I keep track of things, you can do however you wish.

I do hope you get the feeling better soon my friend!

I have something like this. My migraine dr recommended and did pain shots. Not botox. And I visit chiropractor twice a week. Walking better and less pain

Add botox every 3 mo. It takes at least 6 mo to a year but they will be gone

After several months of daily migraines I made an appointment to see a Neurologist. I was told to keep a log of when I got a migraine and what I took for it (before my first visit). I found a list of migraine triggers online there were several things on the list I cut out of my diet and daily routine. One being alcohol and another is OTC headache medication (Advil, Tylenol, & Excedrin, Excedrin migraine)

I now take Nurtec ODT every other day. It reduced the frequency and the intensity. Don't get me wrong I still get Migraines maybe 1-2 a month.
If you are suffering from migraines talk to your doctor or see Neurologist

You literally have to suck it up, & just not take anything for awhile. It's awful. Try Firocet
