Hi everyone! I have been dealing with Chronic migraines sine my 20's. The Neurologist has me on Zonisamide and increased the dosage but it is not working. I have migraines pret thg much every day and miss work also i am on FMLA at work. I was thinking about trying Aimovig. Has anyone tried this and what experience did you have. Also what about Botox? I am scared to try it.

I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. I was diagnosed with chronic migraines about 2 and a half months ago. I have tried 4 different preventives and 4 different onsets. Nothing is working for me. I might have to quit my job soon as all I can do most days is lay in bed. I finally saw a neurologist and am now on trazadone which is supposed to help with the depression/sleep and also work as a preventative. And he gave me ubrevely for an onset. I have experienced 3 months of constant daily & night-time migraines, which had not happened before, since starting Botox 6yrs ago. I felt the night-time/wake-up with Migraines, are the worst!! Disrupting sleep, so a lack of good sleep!! I thought it was teeth clenching, so I bought a good night-time mouth guard to use. Kind of helped, maybe 60%. Kind of hit or miss relief. I was just prescribed Sumatriptans, but took and Excedrin Migraine 6 hrs ago. Is it safe to take the sumatriptans? The Excedrin Migraine did not work!
