Does Work Tend To Aggravate Migranes?
I already lost my career once and feel I'm about to lose it all over again
When the migranes first hit, in 2018, they literally came out of the blue. I was fine one day, than BAM at work the next excruciating head pain, dizziness and nauseau. Shortly after, diagnosed with chronic migranes. On various medical leaves for a yr. Migranes declined a bit but than, the second I went back to work they hit again in clusters. I have had to go on disability. Not just for migraine but other health issues, which all surrounds my migraines

That's the thing, so many people think being on disability is this glamorous lifestyle, it's barely enough to get by.
I left the classroom mid-year this past October...and that helped. It was my 2nd career change. Not a cure, but LORD, it was a good change. The stress level is just compounded by this life of pain, shame/anxiety.

I lost my career as a virtual provider. There’s no way I can work with patients safely with migraine disease such as mine or yours simply due to word searching symptoms alone during migraine - I’m barely able to communicate. I just got approved for SSI/SSDI and while it’s a huge relief, but how am I supposed to live on $15K/year????
