Anyone else get frustrated trying to get into your migraine meds when need it. I had to go to two different rizatriptan today before i could get one open. Once it was 3. Dont they realize in pain and with body not finctioning, easier is better. My poor pill was all crushed up today by the time i got it under my tongue to dissolve. Guess it got in my system quicker.

I find this too with my topamax, which come in blister packs, once they came in little bottle with safety top since then every month I spend time and take all new ones in blister pack out and put them into bottle put new label on bottle so I know date next prescription due. As far as I know doesnt make any difference to tablets but makes a big difference to me getting my meds when I need them.

Good idea.
I’m currently trying lidocaine viscous solution that you put on a Q-Tip and put all the way up your nostril. Took a bit of getting used to. It takes the edge off. You can take it 6 times a day. I’ve tried everything and I still get migraines every single day. It’s been a bit over 6 years straight now (not exaggerating). I started getting them in 1993 but a botched back surgery in 2012 messed up my spine and migraines started getting worse.
Definitely talk to pharmacist and let them know your problem. Best of luck!

When traveling with migraine medications, it's important to keep them in their original bottles from the pharmacy. This ensures that if customs officials have questions about your pills or search your luggage, they will know exactly what you have been prescribed. Additionally, if you are traveling internationally, you may need a note on your doctor’s letterhead stating which medications you are taking, their dosages, and why they are needed.
