Has Anyone Tried Dry Needling, Nerve Block Injection, Acupuncture For Occipital Migraines?
Thanks for the response, what about chiropractor? Any luck with that?
I had dry needling, acupuncture, occipital nerve blocks (2 or 3), also at least 2 RFAs, none of them worked. My migraines are primarily occipital on the left side, especially when the left side of my neck stiffens up. But for most people the nerve blocks work for at least a time so might be worth looking into..
I've had a few occipital nerve blocks without relief over the years. Also had radio freq ablations at Michigan clinic & at my neurologists ofc that didn't help. I tried acupuncture also--no help.
Had acupuncture - didn't work. Had occipital nerve block injections and those also didn't help at all - had them multiple times with different doctors. I also had a radio-frequency nerve block under anesthesia at C5-C6-C7 when at MHNI - this was very painful for two weeks after and then super helpful for 3-4 years, but the nerves eventually regenerated and the migraines returned full-force. Not sure what "dry needling" is.
Has Anyone Had Any Experience With Occipital Blocks???
