Please Does Anyone Take Difluconate?? Or Ubrelvy??
Did you possibly mean Diclofenac? Is diclofenac a strong painkiller?
Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild-to-moderate pain, and helps to relieve symptoms of arthritis (eg, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis), such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.Sep 1, 2024
I am not sure what the first med is, but my neurologist gave me a few samples of Ubrelvy to try. I took it only once when a headache was starting. It made me feel better for about fifteen minutes when it kicked in, and a much more severe headache occurred within the hour. For the next 24 to 32 hours, I experienced total fatigue - to the point of not wanting to move or do anything. I had the same experience with Nurtec, so I feel like, for me, this new type of medication is not an option. Wish it were not the case.
I've been taking Ubrelvy since June 2024 and have found it does better for me than what Migrinal was doing. We stopped the Migrinal emergency medication I was taking as I began to get nose bleeds with it even though the medication was working quite well.
I'm happy to have had the change out to Ubrelvy as I'm doing much better now that I have something which works quicker, is easy on my stomach, and doesn't give me any side effects when it is taken to cure a chronic migraine. I have been taking a Tylenol and drinking coffee in an attempt to kick the migraine, if that combination doesn't work I will move onto the Ubrelvy. The reason I have been doing things in this fashion, my pain management specialist suggested no more than two Ubrelvy in 24 hours and no more than four Ubrelvy per week. Half-life of Ubrelvy is five to seven hours, saw this on WebMD. I also phoned local pharmacist with more specific questions on this but that was quite a few months back. I highly suggest reaching out to local pharmacist with questions about the medication. Also reaching out to your specialist with direct questions that prescribed this medication is quite helpful as he or she can provide medical information and discuss your care with you.
I tried Ubrelvy as my neurologist's office gave me a couple samples to try. Did not work.
