Has Anyone Tried Agovy?
I need to try so many injectibles before my insurance will cover Quilipta.
I'm tired of the games.
No I have not. Right now I'm doing great no headaches. Botox works and I got pain shots on specific nerves but now using low pressure hyperbaric which seems to work as well or better than pain shots. So botox only and emgality but dr and I are discussing not using to see if hyperbaric works better. And only botox and hyperbaric. Got off all pain meds ie gabapentan etc. Not even using ubrelvy as no new headaches
My insurance is the same way. I have to try 3 injectable medications before they will approve an IV medication. It's very frustrating
It worked for me for about 6 months. But that is normal for me...
I'm on Ajovy at this time, it was started 2021 as I needed a booster to the Botox I had been taking since 1999. We discovered the Ajovy works best for my situation as the migraines have dropped quite a bit in numbers from where they were. It's not as great as we would like the numbers to be but the chronic migraines are down.
I will say the Ajovy brought the migraines down further in numbers. Having severe migraines the Ajovy cannot manage. Having another procedure end of the month that hopefully will take care of this issue.
Best wishes in your search for migraine help
