Does Anyone Feel Like You've Tried So Many Tx Options But They Just Won't Let Up?
Chronic Migraine w/o aura since age 11, now 58. Severe sinus issues, eye surgeries, allergic reactions to several rx and many other treatments with Neurologist not working.
Ubrelvy has helped me, if I take it soon as soon as I feel one coming on or take it before it gets to bad. My problem now, is my insurance will not pay for it and itβs incredibly expensive.
Sweetie, this is my life. Chronic intractable for the past 6 years. I can no longer work. I've tried all the RXs, even the off label uses RXs, herbs & supplements, dietary changes. Still no changes. It's been 1172 days nonstop. Ubrelvy + Ativan help bring the pain down sometimes. SOMETIMES. Of course insurance only covers 10 Ubrelvy a month. I have to decide when to use it. The past few months I have had many days with 9 or 10 pain. I'm speaking with my docs to eliminate some of my meds. Why continue to take them when aren't working, ya know? It's so frustrating. I was recently approved for the Nerivio device. So I'll see if that helps. Best wishes to us both. π«π
Yes, it is. When o didn't have insurance after losing my job, I was off meds for almost 5 months. Brain fog was so severe that I didn't think of healthcare.gov for insurance. I was able to get a fully subsidized plan. Even back on the meds after that, no changes.
