Sweetie, this is my life. Chronic intractable for the past 6 years. I can no longer work. I've tried all the RXs, even the off label uses RXs, herbs & supplements, dietary changes. Still no changes. It's been 1172 days nonstop. Ubrelvy + Ativan help bring the pain down sometimes. SOMETIMES. Of course insurance only covers 10 Ubrelvy a month. I have to decide when to use it. The past few months I have had many days with 9 or 10 pain. I'm speaking with my docs to eliminate some of my meds. Why continue to take them when aren't working, ya know? It's so frustrating. I was recently approved for the Nerivio device. So I'll see if that helps. Best wishes to us both. πŸ«‚πŸ’–

Ubrelvy has helped me, if I take it soon as soon as I feel one coming on or take it before it gets to bad. My problem now, is my insurance will not pay for it and it’s incredibly expensive.

It sounds like you've been through a lot with your chronic migraines. Here are some points to consider based on my knowledge base:

It sounds like you've been through a lot with your chronic migraines. Here are some points to consider based on my knowledge base:

- Preventive Medications: These are taken daily to reduce the number of headache days per month. They can include blood pressure medications, antidepressants, and anti-seizure drugs.
- Rescue Medications: Used to stop migraine symptoms once they start. Triptans are common but can cause medication-overuse headaches and may not be suitable for everyone.
- Nondrug Treatments: Options like Botox injections, nerve block injections, and devices like the Cefaly device can help prevent migraines.
- Lifestyle Adjustments: Regular lifestyle behaviors, such as consistent sleep, diet, and exercise, can impact migraine frequency and severity.

If current treatments aren't effective, it might be time to discuss alternative options with your neurologist.
