My neurologist finally put me on a steroid, after deciding I need something stronger for my 'Status migrainosus' that started 9 days ago. I take Dexamethasone (4mg) 2x a day. I don't think this is sinus related. It's like the entire right side of my face hurts, especially around my right eye. I'm seeing an ENT on Friday. I'm going talk to my neuro about switching. I've felt so sick for last 2 weeks. No relief, eyes ache, right side of my head is killing me.

So, that Aimovig really did the trick. I am feeling so much better and more livelier. My Status Migrainosus is gone! After lasting for 31 days. Asked my doctor abour his plan to take me off of either Neurontin or Depakote or both. He said see how I do for a few weeks with Aimovig then he'll make a change. Seems logical.
