Pain hits you in center of forehead and top of head feels like it's going to explode. Symptoms include nausea, and pain does not throb like most migraines.

I had ONE DOOSEY of a Migraine, My blood pressure I could feel all over my body, I was SO DIZZY, threw up & lost consciousness, I was rushed to ER by ambulance throughout the time I was still unconscious. My report said that I was treated as a D.O. (NO WAY IN HELL)but bcuz I couldn't not communicate/snap out of it, that's how I was treated. Eventually I come to, & Hospital doctor admitted me for observation, every single test you could possibly imagine was run on me to find what I #OD on. Low and behold all tests came back "NEGATIVE"! Imagine that! Anything that was identified matched my prescriptions, and the doctor prescribed the exact same meds & even added some that I had quit taking bcuz either I didn't like the side effects or it help at all. My physical therapist read the report & believes they missed a TIA occured. So now my Primary care will NOT refill my meds & I can not find a Neurologist to take me on immediately without my records from my previous doctor that has retired. So it's going to get real BAD real soon for me.
Wish me luck

Yes, hemiplegic migraines can indeed have symptoms similar to a stroke, such as temporary weakness on one side of the body. These symptoms can be mistaken for a transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke. It's important to differentiate between them:

- Hemiplegic Migraine Symptoms:
- Temporary weakness on one side of the body
- Changes in vision or speech
- Gradual development of symptoms

- Stroke/TIA Symptoms:
- Sudden onset of symptoms
- Negative symptoms like loss of function (e.g., losing feeling on one side of the body, vision loss in one eye)

If you're unsure whether you're experiencing a migraine or a stroke, seek emergency medical help immediately.
