How Long Do You Give Medication A Chance To Work Before Moving On To Something New?

I ihave been on numerous Migraine medications and I usually give them at least 3 months. If they have no affect,I contact my Neurologist and see if there is something else I can try. Hope this helps.

I generally give them about 2 months. I have tried so many over the years that I do not like waiting too long for something to make a difference. Currently trying Qulipta, just increased the dose. Helping a little, not sure the benefit is worth the cost.
