Emgality
Last year I had BCBS insurance, they denied my Emgality even after appealing 5 times. Switched to Aetna the first of the year and they covered it without have to do a prior authorization. It really helps reduce my migraines to about 1 a week. I know this wasn’t really a question but thought others might like to know. 😊

That's great news. Sadly I had gnarly psychological and neurological side effects from emgality. I didn't even know it was causing them. They aren't listed as side effects with the medicine. Ppl have to report side effects for it to be updated, and not many people make the connection when they start new meds, especially those of us who have other health issues that could cloud it if you're not a diligent tracker of symptoms. Even ppl that recognize side effects as a result of medication dont often take the time to report side effects, or even know that's an option that can be helpful to others. I hope you do better with it than I did, bc it did seem to help!
