Just Out Of Curiosity, Does Anyone Else Get Stroke Like Symptoms From Their Migraines
When I get severe migraines I lose feeling in the left half of me body, but not motorfunction, so I can walk I just can't tell if my foot has touched the ground
I take magnesium glycinate too per the recommendation of an article I read by an integrative neurologist who runs a headache clinic up in NY. I don't get the other symptoms.
You’re not alone. Sometimes this happens with one of my arms during an attack.. it’s like it’s there, but not part of my body if that makes sense. I started taking magnesium glycinate 200mg twice daily and have had relief for a few months now.
I feel like my arms aren’t really attached to me sometimes and it’s really just like an out of body experience. It’s actually hard to explain, but the first time it happened to me I thought it was a stroke, it scared me and I went to the ER. They didn’t find anything wrong. I will get these tight sensations in my neck and throat, had an xray and found out it was muscle spasms in my neck. I have ringing in my ears and just an overall ill feeling. My stomach muscle will tighten and sometimes feels like I can’t breathe , after the episode as I call them I feel very tired and sluggish.
Yes, my situation seems weird but i don’t get the headache MOST of the time. My neurologist says rhey are atypical migraines. I get vvery weird and tingly feelinh throughout my body
Yes, additionally I have had a migraine episode when I started sluring my words and kept having my legs buckle. I gradually got better after like an hour or so, but it was scary. My mind was fine, but my body and mouth weren't lining up correctly.
