Botox

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Salt Lake City, UT

Hello everyone,
‘I just joined this group about a week ago so I am still trying to figure it out in the meantime. Today I had a follow-up with my Nero doctor and he suggested going the Botox route. I was wondering who all here has done it, and if so do you think it helped?

Hi, my name is Dolores, same with me. I went through one session of Botox. It just wasn't for me. My head hurt so bad for weeks. I have been on Aimovig
Injections and has really helped me a great deal. I still have chronic headaches though.

I started with Botox I didn’t do well with the procedure I ended up with a worse headache than when I walked into my doctors office.
I’m now using Aimovig once a month & it seems to help.
