Who Has Tried CBD Oil For Their Migraines And Does It Help ?
Hi wondering if anyone has tried CBD oil for their migraines if so how much do you take and how often ? It is preventive or just when the migraine hits ?
I am currently listening to the Migraine World Summit and yesterday Dr. Eric Baron, DO: Neurologist, Cleveland Clinic discussed research on cannibis and CBD oil on migraine. Research has found that cannibis and CBD oil have higher antiflamatory properties than any NSAIDS out there with none of the side effects. I wish I could remember the percentages because it was vastly higher. Very interesting interviews every day. I have learned a lot.
I use a high-potency, full-spectrum hemp-derived CBD tincture at 50mg per dose and it does help my migraines indirectly by calming my HPA-axis. I sometimes double or triple the dose. I can feel it like a clenched fist inside my head is relaxing and that makes a big difference in my level of suffering, plus it helps me sleep through the pain. I also use a CBD topical balm & a CBD massage oil, both of which are 50mg per teaspoon. I apply that to my neck, head & face where I'm feeling pain and it is amazing how much it helps decrease nerve pains! I totally recommend good-quality CBD!
I just posted on another conversation that the quality and quantity of CBD in the oil really makes a difference. I increased the quantity per drop and increased the level of pain relief.
I have used CBD oil with out THC and found it not to be helpful. I used a product called BREES when were were in CA. It is a liquid mint spray that you place under your tongue. It worked wonders for me.
I tried the regular CBD oil and it had no effect. CBD with THC isn't available in NC. Aimovig has greatly reduced the intensity and duration of my migraines.
I Have Been Having Migraine For Many Years. I Have Been Looking Into CBD Oil. Dose Anyone Know If It Worked.
