I Am Wondering If Anyone Here Has Fibromyalgia And Do You Get Migraines When You Have A Fibro Flare?
I have both. The fibromyalgia has gotten worse since I got the migraines 18 months ago symptoms mesh but I’ve had a lot of cognitive changes too verified by psychological testing. I can’t remember things and if my head hurts I sometimes can’t remember directions or where I’m at when driving etc.
I also jus realized over last 2 months i began getting at least 2 more migraines a montg than usual. I have allergic rhinitis sinus issues and i started use over counter flonase nasal spray. I found out its a steroid nasal spray online reviews some patients complain it gave them severe headaches. I stopped it Monday after reading that If i have stuffy nose i can deal with it to avoid migraine.
Im 99% sure flonase is trigger for me.
Yes. I have Fibromyalgia. When I have a bad flare, I get migraines. It stinks
I have fibromyalgia and my migraines got worse afterwards and i get more frequent headaches too. I haven't noticed any other differences with flare ups. If you are interested in an online support group, I run one on Facebook called Caring Chronic Pain Partners and we are partnered with the National Fibromyalgia Association.
Yes I have Fibro and have had migraines since I was very young, now I'm 74, still have chronic migraines and YES migraines come with a Flare, Neurologist says they absolutely are related....(ONE is bad enough.....!
