Has Anyone Heard Of MigraineX?

"MigraineX, clinically proven to prevent travel and weather related migraine symptoms before they start" They are some sort of ear plug, you can also download an app that tells you when the the air pressure is going to change. I just stumbled upon them while ordering a migraine ice hat. They are not expensive, about $12.00, but it seems that it could be one of those, "if it sounds to good to be true" items.

I'm interested if feedback, both positive and negative.

I've seen the advertisement on fb and read the article. I was also wondering about them myself. If they really work maybe a lot of people (myself included) would be helped from getting such bad migraines when the barometric pressure changes.
For instance, I woke up this morning with a migraine and I'm sure it's because a little cool front has blown in. I live in Southeast Texas and our falls are like most peoples winters. Our temperature has been in the 90's during the day and the 80's at night. This "cool front" has us in the 80's during the day and the 60's at night.

I use the app and love it. You have to play with alert settings to determine your barometric pressure fluctuation tolerance. I find rapid pressure drops to trigger my migraines much more than when the barometer rises. The app alerts are helpful in reminding me to insert the earplugs--though I don't like when they are in. I just tried a new device called Zōk that inserts into the ear and you can squeeze or release the attached bulb to change the pressure in either ear. Yesterday it relieved my migraine within an hour without any meds!

I just yesterday downloaded the app but have not received any alerts from it as yet. Still got a migraine today that I'm pretty sure is weather related because the barometric pressure changed. It just wasn't enough to send an alert. I'll be happy to let you know if it works on the next day or two. Haven't ordered the earplugs though cause I can't afford $15 for earplugs that you gotta replace. Sorry.

WEll, I broke down and bought them, I might as well have burned that $12.00 but desperate times call for desperate measures. Right?
