I was on propranolol for several years and didn't note any strangeness-unless I forgot to take it. Then my head felt a little odd and my vision got blurry.

My son tried it was over a year and the first 6 months worked really well. He gained a lot of weight on it and then it stopped working.

They do sound the same. It is a different medication. Propofol is what he was taking.

I may be wrong,but I think that propanolol ,doesn't sound like a medication that any good Doctor would give to a patient! Isn't that what killed Michael Jackson? I may have this confused with another medication!

I was on it for a while, but it wasn't that effective for me. I weaned off it a couple of years ago. No strange side effects.
