Overview
Zestril is a prescription drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat hypertension and heart failure. Zestril may be prescribed off-label to prevent migraines. Zestril is also known by its drug name, Lisinopril.
Zestril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. ACE inhibitors are believed to work by relaxing the blood vessels.
