Would Anyone Be Interested In Creating With Me An Online Space For A Face To Face Migraine Support Group?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Hamilton, ON

Hi! I started one in person in Hamilton Ontario, however due to covid we are only able to meet online. I wanted to reach out more broadly and see if anyone would be interested in forming a peer support group that met over zoom? I'm a migraine patient myself, a registered social service worker with her own private practice and a researcher studying Migraine care for my PhD. I voluntarily run the Hamilton group and would be more than happy to lend my group facilitation skills to building a more… read more

I take 1000mg at night for my seizures. And my neuro just increased my dose of Neurontin to 3200mg a day because one of my other meds caused too many problems with depression. The longest I've gone… read more

Does Anyone Just Get The Aura With No Headache?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Ukiah, CA

I had my first Aura 20yrs ago at the age of 42 and it scared the life out of me, luckily for years I didn't have anymore, now 25yrs later I am getting them almost everyday, i have had my eyes examined and all ok there, so apart from a lot of stress I am at a loss to know what has started to cause them to come back with such frequency. Please let me know if any of you migraine sufferers have silent migraine, and is there anything I can do to lessen the attacks.

Dehydration

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cypress, TX

The other day, I had a migraine after not drinking enough water. Can this be because I was slightly dehydrated?

A MyMigraineTeam Member

I have a hard time completely giving up caffeine. One caffeine beverage is usually fine. Gave up sodas in 2010. My coach told me too.

Too Much Sleep?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cypress, TX

I slept up to 13 hours the other day and woke up with a migraine the next day. Can this be because I slept too long?
