I’m having trouble getting my insurance to cover Emgality and my neuro says that Aimovig might be easier to get through for some reason. However, I’m rather concerned about the severe constipation side effect that has caused some patients to need surgery as that has been an issue I’ve had my whole life. How have you guys combatted that side effect? Any info you think would be useful would be much appreciated! TIA! 😊

Does anyone here take Nurtec ODT? If so does it help you? Does help cut your migraines per month?

I have had this type of daily, painful headaches for 30 years or so,, It feels like a boring pain with anxiety in my forehead. The mornings are the hardest and they seem to get better in the evenings. I have had full workups which have been negative. Zoloft x 7 years has not helped. Neither has Gabapentin, I have also had Botox with no relief. Tylenol and Asa has no helped.

My name is Jen and I have suffered with migraines for 25 years. In the past few years they have gotten considerably worse. I end up with a status migraine every year now that is hard to break. I talked to the Nurtec representative but it will take a long time to get it approved through my insurance. I'm having daily migraines without any help right now. My neurologist takes forever to do things!!
