I don't do a lot of OTC headache meds anymore. However, I used to live with a bottle of Excedrine (or the generic version). More often than not though, Benadryl-Excedrine-Nausea meds as a cocktail worked years ago-until it stopped working. I was taking double the recommended dosage a day though when I was told it was time for a different treatment option.

Excedrin migraine. Name brand only. Generic does not work for me. I’ve been using it for years and so far it still works but my prescribed meds let me down more often!

I take Exedrin but very sparinly due to the caffeine rush and risk of rebound headaches if taken too often. Also it works through the liver so be careful with the Acetaminophen. But it does work for me and give me a feeling of relief once the caffeine starts to kick in. Usually for me, then the headache is gone with 1-2 hours.
